This division supports international teachers and humanitarian workers around the world with its International Schools Retirement Plan and it's TCN International Retirement Plan as well as a range of health and life insurance plans designed for the globally mobile worker.
This Division of our group has grown originally from our 2005 acquisition of Midian Investments Limited who were, for over 20 years a leading provider of pensions and healthcare solutions to the international education community. Following this acquisition we set about revamping and restructuring the business and produced a bespoke retirement plan on a single priced basis which is now considered to be one of the leading products in the market place with well over 1,000 individual participants and approaching $25million under management.
In 2008 we strengthened this division with the acquisition of Junos Limited, a respected advisory firm within the international schools market and with it particularly the services and experience of Janet Jenkinson and Lesley Stevens. Janet retired at the end of 2014 and Lesley is now responsible for the day to day success of this part of the group.
In 2010 we were approached by InsideNGO (the Washington based charity and NGO representative body) to produce an exclusive plan for their members based upon the success of our International Schools Retirement programme; the outcome, The TCN International Retirement Plan was launched in 2011 and in 2013 was also adopted by InsideNGO’s sister organisation People-in-Aid based in the United Kingdom.
Since then membership of the plan has continued to grow. We now have 11 major charitable and not-for-profit organisations contributing in excess of $1.35 Million a year on behalf of their expatriate workers.
