Our Compliance department would like to hear from current Compliance Assistants or Paraplanners looking for a temporary contract role to cover a period of maternity leave. This role will give you the opportunity of working within a forward-thinking and growing international financial services company, where you will gain invaluable experience and knowledge whilst gaining exposure to different compliance functions.
This is a Full-time position working 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday with flexible working opportunities including a split of home and office working (Head Office). This role will report into the Compliance Director, providing day to day compliance support for the regulated business and it’s Appointed Representatives. Duties will include, but are not limited to, ensuring appropriate records are maintained, gathering and analysing data, preparing reports, documenting processes, regulatory reporting and arranging and assisting with supervision activities.
Financial services experience is mandatory as is working in a compliance function / department. The ideal candidate will show excellent attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise while having very good interpersonal skills as well as being able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and colleagues alike. You will have a strong customer service focus, and relish both upholding standards and assisting the team in driving positive change.
