The UK arm of our International Employee Benefits business is based just outside Chester in the North West of England. Our success lies in the its particular skills of providing packages of employee benefits for UK and International companies who have small to medium sized groups of employees based in the UK and in Europe.
We advise upon and design a range of group benefits, including Life Assurance, Income Protection, Critical Illness, Private Medical Insurance, Cash Plans, Travel, Dental and Group Pensions.
Our services offered from the UK include advice implementation and ongoing service for the following.
Advice and implementation of the most appropriate qualifying pension plan.
Some pension schemes make contributions via salary sacrifice which can result in savings for both the employee and employer which may then be invested into the pension plan.
In the UK all employers are progressively being required, over the next four years, to auto enrol their eligible employees into a qualifying pension scheme. All new group pension plans are designed with this in mind.
Group life insurance provides an employee’s dependants with a tax free lump sum if they die whilst in employed service.
Group income protection provides a percentage of the employee’s income if they are absent from work through long term illness or injury.
This is available as a standalone product, but it is usual for it to be included as part of an income protection plan. Employee Assistance Programs can provide counselling and referral services for those faced with financial, emotional or legal issues.
Group critical illness can provide employees with a tax-free lump sum payment on survival of a specified critical illness.
Group dental cover can include both emergency and non-emergency treatments, and also routine check-ups. Some plans also cover dental injury.
Private medical insurance covers the cost of treatment making it easy and convenient for you to get prompt access to diagnosis and the latest eligible medical treatments. This can help you and your employees get back to work as quickly as possible - family members can also be included too.
Depending on the plan that is in place, private medical insurance will cover the cost of nursing in a private hospital, surgery, accommodation in a private ward in NHS hospitals, drugs and x-rays.
Cash plans are designed to complement and work together with private medical cover. Cash plans are designed to cover the cost of regular healthcare. A cash plan can for example cover optical, dental and prescription charges.
Cash plans can also help to reduce claims for group private medical plans and consequently may assist in containing the cost of the private medical plan.
