Alistair West

After graduating from the University of Warwick in 2002, Alistair started his career in IT. He worked in schools as a Network and Infrastructure Manager as well as being a member of the Sefton Schools IT Steering Committee. His role involved procuring services for nearly 100 schools in the North West and leading the development of a pupil attainment tracker that was used by schools nationally.

In 2020, Alistair decided to embark on a new career and challenge and completed his diplomas in financial advice (DipFA) and mortgage advice (CeMAP).

In April 2022 Alistair joined the team at Alexander Beard as a Financial Planner and is based at our Head Office.

Outside of financial advice, Alistair plays football and tennis and is a keen skier. He lives in Southport with his two sons.
