Edward Hill

Ed’ began his working life in the Merchant Navy, where over a period of 15 years he progressed from swabbing the decks to being qualified to take command of any ship, of any size, anywhere in the world.

The birth of Ed’s first daughter in 2016 alerted him to the need for long term financial planning, so in 2019, after hanging up his sea boots, he began a second career in financial planning, achieving the diploma in financial planning in 2020.

Ed joins our Head Office planning team, living close by on the Wirral peninsula with his wife and two daughters.
